- Measures the direct and indirect employment impact generated in Ohio as a result of the total academic health care industry as well as the seven medical colleges and their core teaching hospitals
- Measures government revenues that are generated by the presence and operations of the entire academic health care industry as well as the seven medical colleges and their core teaching hospitals
- Calculates the amount of research funding awarded to the state of Ohio as a result of Ohio’s medical colleges
The report was produced by Tripp Umbach, which has conducted economic impact studies for hundreds of health care institutions and medical colleges throughout the country.
